That’s it Blizzard introduced the matching process For competitive games: “Competitive players will be divided into two pools based on the system they are playing: 1) host players, and 2) PC players. For balance purposes, PC players and host players will not be mixed in the same competitive game swimming pool.”

By default, host players will only be matched with other host players, even in fast games. The only way to find a game with a console with PC players purposefully team up with people on these platforms. This is similar to Apex Legend.

Finally, although today’s update introduced a cross-play feature, it did not unlock the sharing process between game consoles. This means that cosmetics and statistics are locked to a specific platform and will not be transferred between sessions of different consoles.

In addition to the cross-play feature, today’s patch increases the amount of damage caused by some heroes on the console, trying to provide the same damage as the PC version. The heroes affected are Anna, Ashe, Symmetra and Torbjörn, and their previous damage output on the console has been reduced.

It’s been five years Overwatch When it first came out, from day one, cross-play has been one of the most requested features for players.Well, that and Overwatch 2Still coming in, Although it may not be this year.
