The first six “Final Fantasy” games are getting a “Pixel Perfect” remake


Although this is different from the recent “Final Fantasy” remake, Square Enix is ​​doing a “pixel remake” of the first six games in the RPG series. In the company’s E3 demo, it announced that these pixel-perfect versions will be available on mobile platforms and Steam. However, there are few other details.

This should help set expectations: this is not another FFVII remake. Similar games Final Fantasy VI Can benefit from the updated version-its Steam iteration (and “updated” graphics) is not exactly Widely acclaimed.

Faithful copies may be welcomed, especially when smartphones can easily run games made decades ago-and introduce them to a new generation who may not have played them. (Don’t tell anyone, but I never finished Final Fantasy II. This may be my chance.)
